At MIDO, Frame the Future presents the alliance and the first results of the Catalyst Study, the first baseline analysis mapping where the eyewear industry stands today on sustainability.

Based on in-depth interviews with 15 key industry players across the eyewear value chain, combined with extensive desk research, the study examines materials, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, regulation, and end-of-life. The session highlights the industry’s most pressing sustainability challenges and identifies concrete opportunities where collective action can create meaningful progress.

The findings form the foundation of Frame the Future’s first industry roadmap, outlining where shared infrastructure, pre-competitive collaboration, and joint initiatives can deliver the greatest impact.
